Indeed a dynamic piece of work.
Love it so much! ^^
anyway, this is incredible
Garrosh Hellscream, being the genius he is, attacked Theramore out of the blue. Most of the Horde leaders were unsure if it was the right thing to do, and Gallywix ratted them out. Baine, however, sent a Tauren emissary to warn Jaina of the attack, still having respect for her from back when she and Anduin helped him (when the Cataclysm was still a new development). Anyway, Garrosh had the Sunreavers create a mana-bomb (essentially a nuke) to use on Theramore as a "contingency plan" of sorts. Well, Jaina was still in the city when it was dropped and Rhonin pushed her through a portal at the last second, sacrificing himself to save her. The effects of the mana-bomb on the portal caused her hair to be bleached white, her eyes to glow eerily, and her tear ducts to produce mana instead of tears. The one streak of blonde left was what wasn't in the portal yet, I think. Jaina returned to Theramore later to see it destroyed and the remains of her friends frozen in time. When she tried to touch them, they turned to dust. Kalecgos (who was a big part of the Battle, I just didn't mention him) tried to comfort her, and showed signs of having feelings for her. They had chemistry through the book, so it wasn't just random. Jaina sure knows how to pick 'em!
So pretty much, Hellscream took away the sympathy Jaina had left for the Orcs. Jaina was named the new Archmage of the Kirin Tor, and her first order of business was slaughtering all the Sunreavers in the city. She didn't succeed of course, and that's about where I lose track of her lore, but someone must have calmed her down. Probably Kalec.
During the Thunder Isle Campaign, The Sunreavers, Wary of Garrosh's Leadership, and the Krin Tor Take up posts on opposite ends of the Island. At the hight of the Campaign, The Sunreavers and the Kirin Tor were about to Throw down at a junction called the Bloodied crossing, but a Wounded Taran-Zu showed up last minute to repremand the commanders of both factions for their rebuttal behavior, and preventing what would have been a massacare.
Near the end of the Campaign, Jaina has the powers of the now dead Thunder King, and The Sunreavers have the capability to build Constructs powered on a Red Viscous liquid; The Blood of the Titan Ra'Den.
Where has my dear, sweet Jaina gone? Damn you, Garrosh! I hope Blizzard will at least have Jaina kick his sorry ass!
But, despite that, I love this (and the other drawing), they are both so beautiful and well done. I'm wondering why I haven't seen them before? Instant favorites!
she held against all adversity until now, from just 20s.
so hope to jaina will be happy after.
I hope so too. But she did survive the destruction of Lordaeron, and fighting Arthas himself, so I think she has a pretty good chance of healing. I just hope the Blizzard doesn't completely turn her into a hateful war-monger...WoW has enough of those kind of characters already.
